JULY'S FLY OF THE
MONTH
The month of July sees a lot of different caddis hatches on streams in the Adirondacks. The best all around caddis imitations is the AuSable Caddis. It imitates a whole range of caddis and is extremely productive when fished properly with a slight skittering action; Best sizes to fish this pattern during July are size 14 and 16.

Hackle: | Grizzly and brown mixed, or dark grizzly.
